Q:  Do we receive training prior to leaving for our missions?
A:  Yes, either on the trip over or in a group setting with other team members.

Q:  What type of training do we get?
A:  How to share your PTSD experiences with other former combatants and their families who also have PTSD to some degree.

Q:  Do we have to speak in front of other people?
A:  Yes, but it is in a roundtable type of discussion in a very relaxed setting. After all, the objective of these missions is to promote peace and healing with like humans.

Q:  How about expenses and accomodations?
A:  The trip expenses are all paid for by I.B.O.W.W. which includes airfare (round trip) from your town or city and a per diem of $205.00 for hotel, food and other sundries. Trips have initially been scaled back to 7 days because of funding amounts available.

Q:  How much notice, if we are selected for a mission, do we receive for planning purposes (i.e. our personal affairs)?
A:  At least 40 days.

Q:  Will trained personnel - such as PTSD team leaders - be available?
A:  Yes.

Q:  How can we learn more about the ongoing missions now forming?
A:  Click HERE to be directed to the Missions page. Keep checking this site for updates or you may click on the message board below with more questions.
